NoBark is a community-driven platform designed to capture and track dog-related incidents across Australia. Our goal is to improve community enjoyment by providing a transparent, and easily accessible way to report and view dog incidents.
Traditionally, the reporting and responding to animal complaints has been adversarial, with council bound by law to act in the best interests of both parties. NoBark! takes a more contemporary approach, it seeks to mediate and communicate through the transparency of information, hoping to foster understanding and cooperation between all parties.
All contributions to the platform are anonymous and the information is freely available to all parties, without prejudice. Please be aware that the platform allows people to export data, but does not automatically feed or integrate into council systems.
By sharing information about dog behaviour and compliance, everyone can identify problem areas, dog owners can see behavioural patterns and make positive changes, therefore reducing the burden on councils.
The objective is to improve communication, resolve complaints, eliminate conflict and create a safer and more peaceful community that maintains our enjoyment when at home.
